Tell us about your firm:
ECS Southwest, LLP is a professional consulting firm providing geotechnical, materials testing, environmental, building science, and infrastructure services.

How did you get your start in the A/E/C industry?
 After the U.S. Navy, I began my career in 1997 at another consulting firm in this industry.

What has surprised you most about serving on the board? 
I have enjoyed how marketing folks from the various industries come together in support of one common educational goal. The promotion of educational programs for marketing to construction, engineering, architectural and interior design services through monthly luncheons and seminars. 

What makes South Texas an attractive market for growth and investment? 
Our business-friendly environment, growing population, and logistics to the international trade corridors, land and sea. We should continue to see strong GDP growth in the various markets to include residential, commercial, federal, data center, and institutional.
