2026 Board Member Spotlight: Debbie Mann, Programs Director

Tell us about your firm:
What I love about Raba Kistner is the breadth of expertise we have under one roof. Headquartered in San Antonio, with offices and labs throughout Texas and the South, we bring more than 58 years of experience in environmental and cultural resources, geotechnical engineering, building sciences, construction materials testing and program/project management.

How did you get your start in the A/E/C industry?
My career has spanned business development, brand strategy and the commercial real estate industry, but it was the relationships I built along the way that led me to A/E/C. Those relationships have been and continue to be an important part of my life.

What excites you most about the future of SMPS San Antonio?  
As we celebrate 25 years as a chapter, I’m excited to continue developing programs that allow members to identify opportunities and understand how to position their firms to pursue and win that work. I want members to leave with information, connections and ideas they can put to work.

How can firms position themselves to capitalize on upcoming regional projects?
Intentional engagement with SMPS can provide both insight and access. Our programs offer an early look at opportunities. Sponsorship, VIP events and committee participation create access to owners, decision-makers, industry leaders and peers.
